ClassicBond EPDM Walkway Pads

The ClassicBond EPDM Walkway Pads are pressure-sensitive walkway pads designed with outstanding durability in mind. Regardless of the volume of foot traffic, you can rest assured that these pads will last for years. ClassicBond EPDM Walkway Pads are manufactured to act as a shield to protect the membrane in areas exposed to constant foot traffic. 

Intended Uses

• Install at all traffic concentration points, such as roof hatches, access doors, and rooftop ladders, to prevent wear from frequent foot traffic.
• Perfect for areas requiring regular maintenance, particularly when servicing rooftop equipment monthly or more frequently.

Application Instructions

• Clean the Surface: Remove dust, dirt, and other debris from the membrane. For stubborn marks, use a low-foaming soap and water solution, followed by a rinse with clean water.
• Prepare the Membrane: Scrub with Weathered Membrane Cleaner and prime the surface using ClassicBond Primer where the pads will adhere.
• Adhere the Pads: Use ClassicBond Primer to securely adhere the pads.
• Spacing: Maintain a 25mm gap between walkway pads and avoid placing them over field splices.

Precautions

• These walkway pads are designed solely for pedestrian traffic and should not replace ballast.
• Do not install within 3m (10 ft) of the roof perimeter or on buildings taller than 15m (50 ft).
• When used with ballast, ensure no small ballast becomes trapped beneath the pads.
