Kingspan K5 External Wall Board
Kingspan Kooltherm K5 is a premium rigid thermoset phenolic insulation board designed for external masonry walls. Offering exceptional thermal performance with a conductivity as low as 0.021 W/mK, it enables thin, high-efficiency wall constructions, making it ideal for projects where space is a priority.
Faced on both sides with a glass tissue-based facing, Kooltherm K5 is autohesively bonded during manufacture for enhanced durability. It is available in standard sizes of 600mm (width) and 1200mm (length) with thicknesses ranging from 25mm to 100mm.
With a compressive strength exceeding 100 kPa, Kooltherm K5 ensures structural integrity while providing outstanding insulation. Suitable for use behind both traditional and lightweight polymer-modified renders, it is an ideal solution for retrofitting existing properties externally, reducing disruption to occupants.
