EcoTherm Eco-Versal
EcoTherm Eco-Versal is a versatile, high-performance PIR insulation board designed to provide an effective thermal solution across a wide range of building applications. As a 5-in-1 insulation board, Eco-Versal can be used in floors, walls, roofs, dormer cheeks and ceilings, making it a convenient option for projects that require a single insulation product for multiple areas of a building.
Manufactured with a rigid polyisocyanurate (PIR) insulation core, Eco-Versal delivers excellent thermal efficiency with a thermal conductivity of 0.022 W/mK across all thicknesses. This helps reduce heat loss and improve the overall energy performance of both new build and refurbishment projects. The boards are faced on both sides with aluminium composite foil, which is bonded to the insulation core during manufacture to enhance durability and performance.
Eco-Versal is suitable for a variety of applications including floors, internal and external walls, pitched roofs, loft spaces, dormer cheeks and ceilings. It is particularly well suited for timber frame wall construction, while also providing an efficient solution for upgrading insulation on solid walls internally. Its rigid structure makes the boards easy to cut, handle and install, helping to simplify installation on site compared with some other commonly used insulation materials.
The boards are produced in a standard size of 1200 mm x 2400 mm and are available in thicknesses ranging from 25 mm to 150 mm, allowing flexibility to meet different thermal performance requirements. At 100 mm thickness, Eco-Versal has an approximate weight of 3.11 kg/m², making it lightweight and manageable during installation. The boards also offer a declared compressive stress of 120 kPa at 10% compression when tested to BS EN 826, demonstrating their ability to maintain structural integrity under load.
Under System 4 AVCP, Eco-Versal achieves a Euroclass F reaction-to-fire rating.
