Ubiflex flashing provides a completely weatherproof junction in applications where the traditional choice would be lead. Developed and designed specifically with an easy installation process in mind, you can rely on this flashing to withstand even the most extreme of weather conditions – it has proven to have an extended working temperature ranging from -30 degrees Celsius to +180 degrees Celsius. Additionally, it has received a fire rating of Class A and will be able to withstand wind speeds of up to 100 miles per hour.

One side is black and the other one grey due to the flashing being manufactured through a process of coating both sides of a reinforced aluminium mesh with silicone sheeting. You can leave either side visible – both can be installed just the same. The silicone sheet surface looks very similar to traditional lead flashing, so it is especially appropriate for your project if the visual aesthetic is an important factor.

Ubiflex non-lead flashing is much faster and easier to install than traditional lead. Fully malleable, this product is not susceptible to thermal movement and can be worked in any direction without needing to utilise protective measures. Additionally, you can cut it with snips or simply a sharp knife. This is very useful because it means minimal waste accumulation at your worksite.

An integrated part of the Ubiflex flashing system called Extreme Fix means that you can install this non-lead flashing in damp conditions as well as dry ones which means that bad weather will not cause unnecessary delays.
