Fleixtec 2020 Powder Hardener
Flexitec 2020 Powder Hardener is added to Flexitec 2020 Resin and Primer to set the curing process in motion. Hardener is added at 2 - 4%, which means between 2 - 4 scoops of powder hardener per litre of product. The hardener is imperative to use in the Flexitec system as without the hardener, the GRP will NOT cure, and all weatherproof capabilities will be lost.
Flexitec 2020 Powder Hardener Features
- Simple and quick "scoops per litre" addition rate system
- Comes with a 'plastic scooper'
- Safer to handle and transport
Preparation & Application
The hardener will arrive in a small pot with two plastic packages containing the hardener powder. For ease of handling, simply decant the powder into the pot, creating a sound base to scoop from. Flexitec provides a plastic 'scooper'. This is the point of measurement Flexitec references to calculate an accurate amount of hardener needed. The amount of hardener required is based on the temperature of the substrate. Once you have calculated the substrate temperature, use the Flexitec measurement bucket, which marks out the hardener required. Mix thoroughly in the appropriate amount of hardener to the resin or primer for an ideal curing period.
