Our Icopal Monarflex 0.3x16m 5U Eaves Sheet Monarflex® 5U Eaves Sheet (Product Code 62795) is polyester reinforced bituminous eaves protection sheet. This sheet is ideal for dressing into the gutter to ensure that the pitched roof underlay remains protected.
At 1.75mm thick, our Icopal Monarflex 0.3x16m 5U Eaves Sheet Monarflex® 5U Eaves Sheet is available in two widths. The 0.5m width is suitable for low pitch roofs between 12.5° to 30°, and the narrower width of 0.33m is ideal for pitch slopes above 30°.
As you would only expect, our Icopal Monarflex 0.3x16m 5U Eaves Sheet is supplied under a Quality Management System approved to ISO 9001: 2000 by BSI Quality Assurance. This ensures that our products are comprised of only the finest materials, and guaranteed to last.
For your complete ease of mind, our Monarflex® 5U Eaves Sheet is manufactured to the former British Standard BS 747 Type 5U specification. With a rot resistant polyester base, this Type 5U membrane offers additional durability when compared to Type 1F underlay solutions, and has higher tear resistance as a result.
With this in mind, our products are not only exceptional but are cost-effective too due to their long-lasting and high-quality properties.
At JJ Roofing, we advise that, when removed from the pallet, your Icopal Monarflex 0.3x16m 5U Eaves Sheet must be stood on end on a flat level surface. It should be stored under cover and away from exposure to the sun and away from heat sources.
If you are using this product during the colder months, it should be stored between 10 ºC and 20 ºC 24 hours before installation. We strongly suggest that you do not store it where it may come into contact with hydrocarbon solvents, such as petroleum spirit or diesel oil or other organic solvents.
We also advise that this product is installed by recommendations of BS 5534:2003+A1:2010 and BS 8000-6: 2013.
