DuoPlain combines the classic proportions and good looks of traditional plain tiles with all the time and cost-saving benefits of a modern, large-format interlocking tile.
Engineered for strength, ease of handling and ease of installation, it fulfils the three main demands of a modern roofing site.

DuoPlain Tiles conform to BS EN 490: 2004 Concrete roofing tiles and fittings for roof covering and wall cladding - Product Specifications.
Performance
DuoPlain Tiles have been rigorously tested in our wind tunnel where combinations of high wind and driving rain are used to determine the tile performance with respect to wind loading and weathertightness. Tiles will meet all the requirements of BS 5534: 2014 Code of practice for slating and tiling (including shingles), providing our fixing recommendations are complied with.
RedLine Vent Tile
Provides roof space ventilation through the leading edge of the tile ensuring that the clean lines of the roof are maintained. It is ideal for use where alternative eaves and ridge ventilation systems are not appropriate.
Description
- Three variants available: Interlocking, Plain Tile and DuoPlain
- Minimal visual impact
- Identical interlocks to the tiles ensure a simple and weathertight installation
- Ventilates to comply with BS 5250:2011, therefore reducing the risk of harmful condensation in the roof
- Tried and tested and complies with BS 5534:2014 requirements for mechanical fixing
- Complies with BS EN 12056-2:2000, Gravity Drainage Systems Inside Buildings
- To achieve roof space ventilation of 5,000mm² per metre of run, install at 1.2m centres (except DuoPlain 1.57m)
- To achieve roof space ventilation of 10,000mm² per metre of run, install at 0.6m centres (except DuoPlain 0.78m)
