Redlland - Slate 10 - Redline Vent - Black
Provides roof space ventilation through the leading edge of the tile ensuring that the clean lines of the roof are maintained. It is ideal for use where alternative eaves and ridge ventilation systems are not appropriate.
Description
- Three variants available: Interlocking, Plain Tile and DuoPlain
- Minimal visual impact
- Identical interlocks to the tiles ensure a simple and weathertight installation
- Ventilates to comply with BS 5250:2011, therefore reducing the risk of harmful condensation in the roof
- Tried and tested and complies with BS 5534:2014 requirements for mechanical fixing
- Complies with BS EN 12056-2:2000, Gravity Drainage Systems Inside Buildings
- To achieve roof space ventilation of 5,000mm² per metre of run, install at 1.2m centres (except DuoPlain 1.57m)
- To achieve roof space ventilation of 10,000mm² per metre of run, install at 0.6m centres (except DuoPlain 0.78m)

Compatibility
- RedLine Vent Tiles are available for all BMI Redland tile types except: Cambrian, Stonewold II, Westminster Slate, Fontenelle, Fenland, BMI Redland 49, Cathedral, Old Hollow and Postel
Performance
- The pitch range of each RedLine Vent Tile will depend upon the minimum and maximum pitch of the relevant tile profile
- Maximum headlap is the same as that for the relevant tile profile
- The effective ventilation area is 6,000mm² (except DuoPlain which is 7,850mm²)
- Can also be used for mechanical extraction ventilation

COMPONENTS
- RedLine Vent Tiles are manufactured from UV protected, medium density polyethylene. DuoPlain RedLine Vent Tiles are manufactured from PVC.
- See table for colour availability.
- The RedLine Vent Tile can be used with a Flexible Pipe (917200) for connecting to a 110 mm soil vent.
- Use separate Adaptor and Flexible Pipe for connecting Plain and DuoPlain Vents.
- Supplied complete with fixings and an Underlay Seal (polypropylene - black)
