How to install Enviroflex onto a flat roof substrate
I've come out to install our liquid waterproofing system, which is Enviroflex. First of all, you prime the deck. You can use this product on any substrate, so it doesn't matter whether it's bitumen, whether it's concrete, whether it's a single ply, whether it's a GRP. So, there's no need to basically remove the existing product that's on the substrate, if it's leaking. You can go straight over the top.
All you have to do is prime the deck, which I've already primed here. It takes around about 15 minutes to 30 minutes, depending on the ambient temperature, to dry. Now, the only thing you're gonna have to wait for, to dry out the whole system because it's what they call a wet on wet system. So, first of all, you put the liquid on. There is no catalyst that you have to add to it.
All you need to do is basically give it a stir. Roll the product straight into the substrate, like so. Just try and give it a fairly even coat. You want it a little bit thick but not too much because what you want it to do is absorb the strengthening fleece. Fleece basically has writing on it, so basically when it rolls out so the writing is upwards. If you did lay it that way, it doesn't really matter but you might be able to see, there's a nap at the fleece which would show through, so it's better to have it this way.
You dip the fleece into the liquid, like so, get yourself a clean, dry roller and just embed it into the liquid. Get your liquid again, straight over the top. Now, if you haven't put enough on the base, you'll see that it will lift. You can peel it back, add the liquid, straight back in and then straight over the top again. That's it, job done. That's basically how to install Enviroflex onto a substrate. Thanks very much.
