Katepal Metal Drip Trays

Metal drip trays are essential components for effective roofing systems. Each strip of these trays is designed to cover a span of 1 metre, providing reliable protection against water ingress. Crafted from durable plastic-coated steel, these trays boast a thickness of 0.5 mm, ensuring longevity and resilience. Measuring at a size of 100 x 14 x 5 cm, they offer ample coverage while remaining compact. With a weight of 1.2 kg, these trays are lightweight yet sturdy. Their dimensions of 1.00 × 0.14 × 0.05 m make them versatile for various roofing applications.

INSTALLATION

1. Attach the drip trim to the platform along its upper edge, using zigzag fastening, leaving 10 cm gaps between fasteners. Utilize felt nails or thin plate screws. In the jointed area, interleave the plates for approximately 5 cm. Cut a small piece from the double-folded edge of the lower shingle edge, pushing it inward. Also, cut a slanted piece from the front edge for a seamless match, allowing smooth interleaving of the extension piece. Attach through both plates from the extension piece, securing with 2-3 attachments from the roofing surface.
2. Install a self-adhesive verge shingle atop the drip trims at the eaves. Remove the plastic from the lower surface and firmly press the shingle into place.
