K-36 Sealing Compound:

An elastic, elastomer bitumen-based adhesive for sealing seams.

Ideal for sealing and repairing seams and edges on roofs made of felt, tin, brick, and similar materials. Suitable for various surfaces including metal, wood, brick, concrete, hard PVC, bitumen, felt, and more. Specifically designed for bonding seams of bitumen felt and roofing tiles, providing elasticity in low temperatures and non-drip properties in high temperatures.

Usage Instructions:

Store at room temperature for at least one day prior to application. Clean surfaces thoroughly to remove loose matter, dirt, and grease. For porous and dusty surfaces, apply a coat of bitumen solution K-80. Apply a 1 mm thick layer of K-36 using a 4 x 4 mm notched spreader held at a 45° angle. Carefully press surfaces together to eliminate air pockets, ensuring sealant exudes from seams. Smooth out excess residue using a spatula. Can be used on damp surfaces. Working temperature range: +5…+50 °C during application. Consumption rate for bonding: 1 liter per square meter. Allow glued felt to fully harden before covering. Clean tools and stains with mechanical means or white spirit/mineral turpentine. Indoors, ensure complete drying (solvent evaporation) before using the area.
