Vistalux PVC Roof Sheets 3" ASB Profile 0.8mm - Ariel Plastics

Vistalux corrugated PVC sheeting is a PVC-based sheet with a 3-inch wave for water run-off. Vistalux is known for its durability, holding a respectable 10-year product warranty and adequate UV resistance. All panels come in a width of 610mm but are available in various lengths to suit bonding structures. Whilst strong in material, Ariel Plastics has done a magnificent job of keeping the sheet light in weight for ease of handling. The sheets are mainly self-cleaning, so maintenance is at a minimum. Versatility is a crucial reason for its popularity; it is ideal for sheds, lean-to extensions, warehouse roof lights, canopies & carports.

Vistalux roofing sheets are easy to cut to your desired proportion. Manoeuvre the sheets to the exact location you want them on the roof; as a guide, the sheets should overhang the roof by 60mm whilst providing sufficient coverage of the bargeboard. Mark the sheet with a felt-tip pen. Now marked, place the sheeting on sound structural support and cut through the marked area with a fine-tooth saw or metal-bladed angle grinder.

Vistalux sheeting should be jointed with a minimum overlap of 150mm at 10° slope or 300mm at 5° slope. Ariel Plastics recommends the use of Butyl tape to avoid unsightly dirt ingress. 

1.     Temperatures cannot exceed 60°c and be as low as -20°c.

2.     Sheeting supports must be fully dry before installation.

3.     No insulation should be installed underneath the sheeting as this can trap heat, causing potential sheet distortion. 

4.     When cleaning, please do not use any abrasive materials; using either a sponge or a soft cloth is recommended.

5.     When storing the materials, be aware of excessive sagging in the sheeting. Spaces in the supports should not exceed one metre.
