An Arris Rail is a structural element, usually made out of wood. Manufactured by cutting a length of square-section timber lengthwise diagonally, timber arris rails are used with flat roofs to create an edge or up-stand when using torch on felt. An arris rail can also be used for fencing jobs and the arris rails are pre-treated for external use and life longevity. Using an arris rail also adds a level of security as they are harder to climb.
