Tecnatorch SBS Torch-On Mineral Felt Charcoal
The Tecnatorch SBS Torch-on Mineral Felt is a high-performance, SBS elastomeric torch-on cap sheet perfect for the quality-conscious roofer. The Tecnatorch charcoal felt is 4.2mm thick and has a sleek charcoal mineral aesthetic. The felt is sold in 8m x 1m rolls, weighing 40kg and a 4.562kg gross weight. Once installed by an Icopal-approved contractor to Icopal's specification, a 15-year guarantee covers this product.
Techantroch Application
The Tecnatoch charcoal is manufactured by Icopal, which recommends using felt in a three-layer system. Icopal manufactures the Tecnatorch charcoal and recommends using felt in a three-layer system. The system consists of a Vented Base Layer (VBL) loosely laid onto the deck, an felt-underlay torched on top of the VBL, and a mineral felt torched on top of the underlay. It is suitable for plywood, OSB, timber boarding, profiled metal decking and concrete/ screeded surfaces. It features a low melt reinforced cap sheet that is easy to cut, handle and install thanks to the safe, low-flame application.

Icopal has incorporated cutting-edge mini groove technology; this product can be installed up to 30% quicker than traditional torch-on applications and saves 25% on gas usage.
