As part of that range, we are happy to offer the fantastic Klober Permo® Forte SK2 vapour permeable roofing felt.

This product is versatile and provides exceptional performance characteristics. The centre is a strong laminated material, which has an outer layer of polypropylene on both sides. This means that it is outstanding in terms of weatherproof performance and very strong as well.

It’s not just the material itself that makes this product special. There are several additional elements to it which set it apart from other options in this product class. The Permo® forte SK2 utilises a double integral tape at the laps. This improves the effectiveness of the airtight seal, securing it against any excess energy and heat loss within the roofing section.

Some products of this type, as we here at JJ Roofing know, can often fall short of the performance mark you are trying to achieve. Fortunately, we offer the Permo® Forte SK2 as a way of making sure your roofing project succeeds in meeting all of the expectations, and often exceeding them. In this way, the Permo® Forte SK2 avoids commonly associated problems with installing and laying underlay during more complicated scenarios.

One example of this is the perfect seal created when you apply the underlay with a glue-on-glue method. This ensures the weathertight performance aspect of the underlay isn’t circumvented by a weak seal, which can be a huge problem with other alternatives. If the seal isn’t stable and strong, it can cause serious complications later on down the line, such as water penetration which will affect the roofing timbers and increase mould and damp propagation throughout the home.

The four layers consist of outer polypropylene and inner microporous polyethylene film and reinforcement mesh. It is supplied in 50m x 1.5m rolls (75m²) and weighs 15kg per roll.
