Electric Roof Windows

Keylite’s Electric Roof Windows are the perfect solution for windows installed in hard-to-reach places. With either a handheld remote or wall-mounted switch, users can effortlessly control ventilation with the flick of a switch or the press of a button. In cases where multiple roof windows are needed, Keylite's electric windows can be adapted to suit a range of environments.

For additional convenience, the Premium Electric Kit option includes a rain sensor, which automatically closes the window when it detects rainfall. Electrically operated blinds are also available as an optional add-on, further enhancing the ease of use.

Please note that Keylite’s electric operation is only available for Centre Pivot windows.

Electric Roof Windows Features

Standard Electric Kit:

Includes a wall-mounted switch for easy control, pre-fitted with a 24v DC window actuator. It can control up to two roof windows with a single switch (additional transformers are required for more than two).

Premium Electric Kit:

Offers easy plug-in installation, external rain sensor, and a 15-channel handheld remote. This kit allows control of multiple windows and blinds with pre-fitted upgraded electrical control units.

Solar Electric Kit:

Ideal for installations without mains electricity. It offers all the features of the Premium Electric Kit, is environmentally friendly, and reduces energy costs with a rechargeable battery pack.

Glazing Options

Hi-Therm (HT) Glazing:

Features 4mm toughened outer pane, 18mm Argon gas-filled cavity, and 6mm inner pane. It provides enhanced sound reduction, safety, and protection from UV light. This option is ideal for windows positioned either below 800mm from the floor or above head height. The Ug value is 1.1 W/(m².K).

Triple Glazing (KTG):

Consists of a 4mm toughened outer pane, two Krypton gas-filled cavities, and multiple inner panes. Triple glazing delivers superior thermal insulation with a low U-value of 0.6 W/(m².K) and excellent soundproofing properties.

Integral Blind Glazing (I):

This option includes a built-in blind sealed within the glazing unit, protecting it from moisture and dust. It features 4mm toughened outer pane, a 20mm Argon gas-filled cavity, and options for manual or electric operation. Integral blinds are ideal for use in kitchens and bathrooms but are not available with Triple or Hi-Therm glazing.
