We pride ourselves on providing tailored solutions to trade professionals, including builders, roofing contractors, and increasingly, specialists in the loft conversion market.

  Role Overview

    We seek a motivated and commercially astute New Business Development Executive to join our growing team. This role will focus on identifying and building strong relationships with loft conversion companies and related trades, helping them source high-quality roofing materials and tailored solutions to meet the unique demands of loft projects.

  Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and actively pursue new business opportunities with loft converters and related construction professionals.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of loft conversion requirements and how JJ Roofing Supplies can provide solutions.
  • Build a pipeline of potential clients through site visits, referrals, cold outreach, and attendance at industry events.
  • Deliver persuasive product presentations, both in person and virtually, to highlight value and service offerings.
  • Collaborate with branch teams to ensure seamless onboarding and support for new customers.
  • Track sales performance and report on pipeline activity, market trends, and competitor insights.
  • Negotiate pricing and agreements within company guidelines to secure long-term business relationships.

• Southall | H.G.V Class 2 / L.G.V Class C Driver

  Salary	From £40,000.00 per year With Hiab Experience From £39,500.00 per year Without Hiab Experience Training Given
  Benefits	Company Pension, Bonus up to £2400 a year
  Annual Leave	20 days per year including 5 days at Christmas plus bank holidays Annual leave year runs January 1st – 31st December
  Hours	You will be required to work Monday to Friday 7:00am - 4:30pm and 8:00am - 12:00pm alternate Saturdays (44.5 hours per week)
  Contract Type	Full-Time, 44.5 hours per week, worked 7 am to 4.30 pm. Monday to Friday, and alternate Saturdays, 8 am to 12 pm, with a 60-minute unpaid break each day when working a full day (more than 6 hours). Your hours are scheduled in line with the appropriate driving rules, whether GB Domestic or European.

  We require a H.G.V Class 2/L.G.V Class C driver with experience of driving around London and the surrounding counties for an exciting new position that has opened due to the growth of our company. We are looking for a H.G.V Class 2/L.G.V Class C driver to join a dynamic team working on keeping our high standard of delivery service in our new fleet of vehicles

  
  Duties:
  The ideal candidate will have the following skills, experience and personal traits:

  • Delivering and collecting roofing materials with the assistants of a Hiab/crane.

  • Maintaining the vehicle to a high standard.

  • Achieving operational targets and contractual KPI's.

  • Providing accurate daily information to enable an effective handover.

  • Ensuring a safe and productive workplace where the Company’s legislative and commercial obligations are met.

  • Assisting the site staff with making up and loading vehicles.

  Ideal Candidate:

  The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of previous experience in driving HGV’s.
  • Experience in using Digital Tacho card.
  • Crane/Hiab Knowledge would be of advantageous but not essential.
  • Full driver’s CPC is essential.
  • Ability to work on your own initiative, working to strict deadlines.
  • You should process well developed organisational skills and be able to demonstrate commitment to deliver consistent quality.
  • Good communication both verbal and written.
  • You will be expected to be both customer and company focused with a pro-active approach.
  • Knowledge or experience of working in the Roofing sector would be advantageous, but not essential.
