TLX Insulation are an established specialist in manufacturing thin foil insulation that is high performance and suitable for buildings that might otherwise be difficult to insulate.
TLX Insulation was founded in Blackrock, Lancashire in 1993. Part of the larger Web Dynamics Ltd group, TLX Insulation employs a team of engineers and scientists at their 40,000 square foot production facility in Bolton.
JJ Roofing offers a number of excellent products from TLX Insulation who specialise in making insulated materials for properties where the increase of thermal requirements might lead to changes in the roof line or loss of internal space. Many of their materials and products are unique to TLX and cannot be sourced from alternative suppliers.
Offering some of the most advanced reflective insulation materials in the world, TLX Insulation has been in business for nearly a quarter of a century. They are true experts when it comes to insulation and utilising its performance within the existing built environment.
All products manufactured by TLX Insulation hold BBA (the British Board of Agrément) certificates. In addition to this, TLX Insulation is a member of TIMSA (the Thermal Insulation Manufacturers and Suppliers Association), a sponsor of LABC (the Local Authority Building Control) and approved by The Carbon Trust.
TLX Insulation’s work ranges from housing extensions and loft conversions to larger social housing projects as well as historic buildings. Their products have been used to insulate libraries, museums, swimming pools, hospitals, schools and barns. TLX Insulation has also worked on some iconic projects such as keeping the Water Polo pavilion warm during the 2012 Olympic Games, creating an insulation barrier for the Zaha Hadid Chanel pavilion and helping The Mary Rose Museum.
The production and warehouse areas where TLX Insulation operate covers more than 40,000 square feet of space. They have a number of production lines working together under one roof incorporating adhesive, thermal and ultrasonic technologies. This vast space in Bolton is where all TLX Insulation breather membranes and insulation gets manufactured.
The building block for TLX Insulation products is their expertise in polymer science and the company invests heavily in research and product testing to guarantee that they can offer maximum quality solutions when it comes to creating airtight structures.
