Velux window flashing kits

Installing a Velux window in your roof can make a huge difference to your loft space. Not only is the room filled with natural light, but when the window is opened, fresh air is allowed to circulate throughout the room.

Many people in the UK choose to have a loft conversion, as the cost of moving home is too prohibitive. If you do have a loft conversion, you need to get the most from the space, and one of the best ways to do this is to install a number of Velux windows in the roof to bring in the natural light.

Velux windows are easy to fit into any type of roof line, but one thing that is imperative during the installation process is the use of the right flashing kit. The Velux flashing kit you use will depend on the type of tiles you have on your roof. There are Velux flashing kits for slate roofs, Velux flashing kits for tiles up to 45mm in profile and even Velux flashing kits for tiles up to 120mm in profile.

It's only when you get the right flashing kit that your window installation will remain leak free, so you get the most from the new addition to your home.
