Cheap sun tunnels

We all want to get as much light as possible into our home. But it's not always possible to have a huge number of windows in every room or indeed even a single window in some ensuite bathroom extensions. However, if you have a suitable roof and are not using the loft space, another way of getting extra light into your home is by using a sun tunnel.

A sun tunnel directs natural sunlight that falls on the tunnel opening in your roofline, down the tunnel, where it is reflected and directed into the room below.

One of the main advantages that sun tunnels possess is that they are not at all expensive and in fact you can recoup some of the money spent on the tunnel due to the fact you will be using artificial light sources less frequently. The tunnels are easy to install and come with integral flashing kits and include a clean and clear coating which means the exterior glass will not need frequent cleaning.

Some sun tunnels come with integral low energy lighting, so can also be used during the night as a suitable source of light.
