Areco Nutrim Aluminium Felt Trim AF1 45mm x 60mm x 2.5m

The Areco Nutrim aluminium felt trim Permo AF1 is designed for use with built up felt roofing giving 17 millimetres of coverage. A 45 millimetre face with a 60 millimetre fixing leg, an internal jointing piece will be supplied with each length.

This product should be fixed using cadmium or galvanised nails and screws with no more than 300 millimetre centres to ensure that the ends of each length are firmly secured into place. A recommended minimum amount of fixings is 8. In order to allow for expansion, a 3 millimetre gap should be left between each length. It also recommended to prime the fixing leg.

For optimal use, the first layer of felt should be dressed over the kerb. The Nutrim AF1 should then be fixed into position in the manner described above. The outside edge of the top layer of felt lifting is eliminated because the layer is laid over the trim in a similar way with the top edge turned into the hood.

One jointing spigot per the length of the trim and another one per angle will be supplied with your purchase at no extra cost.
